When did you first get into drawing?

I don't remember the date or the year. I loved drawing and fashion design.
I saw fashion illustrations in 2011 when I was sketching for a fashion design competition. It inspired me and I won this competition.

Why did you choose to make fashion part of your inspiration?

Fashion is movement, energy, changes, impressions, people. Fashion is beauty and youth. It is inspiration for me.

What is your particular working day as a creative?

I work every day all week. It's hard for me to say that illustration is my «job». This is my favourite thing in my life. My day is spent in my studio. I have three main points:
- work with students of my online school for fashion illustrators,

- custom work and improvement of my style in illustration; - answers to questions and promotion.

I worked as an architect and urban planner until June 2019. But I changed that. Fashion illustration is my life, it is interesting for me and I am ready to devote my time to it.

What tools do you use when creating your images?

I love experiments and different materials for creating illustrations. But now I am working with pastels because it is a unique material. Pastel makes the illustration lively, beautiful and bright. I like the feel of pastel crayons in my hands, I like the texture of the paper.

I am constantly learning and able to draw in Photoshop and Procreate, but my favourite is pastel now.

Who are what has influenced you over the years as an artist?

These are different people and different stories. Fashion designers who inspire with their ideas, athletes who teach discipline and work. People inspire me.

What advice do you have for younger artists looking to be part of this industry?

Have the patience to acquire great skill. Don't expect quick results. Don't be jealous. Do not copy. Develop your vision. Every person is unique. Everyone has their own natural style of illustration. You just need to find it in yourself. This is my philosophy of art and work with students.

What are you drawing today? Music are you listening to? Books that your are reading?

I paint new faces of fashion. I like to create art through the face and figures of people. I read a lot. Everyday. These are different books. Psychology, art, business, sports.

Favourite artist/designer at the moment?

People from different cities of the world. There is no specific personality, these are different things, moments from people's lives.
