Sarah Darby is an Australian/English fashion illustrator. She loves the pressure of sketching live and thrives in this environment. Even in her studio work she tries to work quickly and create images that reflect an emotional response. As a result much of Sarah’s commercial work comes from live illustration opportunities.

Sarah has illustrated for Valentino, Cartier, Max Mara, MOET et Chandon, Rolls Royce, Ferrari, Sofitel, Westin Hotels and many more. Her illustrations featured on the wine bottles at the National Gallery of Victoria exhibition for Dior and she has collaborated with Sofitel and Vogue Fashion Night Out to create a selection of illustrated cocktail experiences.

Sarah is especially interested in exploring texture and movement using thick paint to mimic the texture of garments and products. Sarah is based in Melbourne but travels overseas to illustrate.
