Petra Dufkova

Petra Dufkova

Biography

Born in Czech Republic, Petra Dufkova has been educated in graphic design, painting and fashion design. In 2008 she graduated her education modelist/stylist at the international fashion school ESMOD in Germany.
During her education she participated on many projects and contests. Amongst others she won 2008 the Best Illustration Award with her collection at the China Fashion Week in addition to numerous design awards.
Her illustration is a combination of traditional method and modern look with focus on fashion, beauty and lifestyle.
In 2020 she was shortlisted for the FidaXDundas international Fashion illustration competition.
With loose and free marks but also very precise line of her paintbrush and a dash of dirt, she manages to put her own dimension of lightness and presence into her work no matter how technical the theme, always injecting emotion along the way.
Since 2002 she lives in Munich, Germany.
„...Petra Dufkova is a perfect example of a fashion illustrator whose professional range is broad and diverse, and yet whose most popular style and work are unrepresentative of this breadth of techniques and approaches...“
