Jana Lopatto
Biography
After completing a levels in art and art history I continued to draw. I used to try all the media like pencil, coal, sepia, watercolour, gouache, oil, pastels. I used to draw in the grisaille technique as I think mitspielen very expressive like the black and white photography. My motives have always been human faces and bodies. One day I discovered the colourful world of fashion illustration, fashion has always been my passion next to art. So my paintings became more and more colourful. Inspired by the fashion , beauty and advertisement industry. The latest development is the digital painting on a tablet. It makes me discover new techniques and possibilities in illustration.
I had exhibitions in Luxemburg, Geneva and Zürich and private portrait commissions. Also commissions for venue opening invitations. I love the quick sketching. Life drawing.
