Artist and Fashion designer Womenswear MA, Royal College of Art London
Doris studied Art and Design at Bauhaus influenced Art colleges in
Braunschweig and Berlin. The "return to the craft" and the clash of
artistic trends such as Expressionism, Dadaism, and Constructivism
which she experienced in these environments influenced her work. The
Vienna Secession artists Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele also had an
impact. Her later studies at the Royal College of Art in London, where
she gained a MA in Fashion Design led Doris to a more reduced and
minimalistic illustration style.
Doris worked as a senior designer and illustrator on projects for prestigious fashion companies such as Nina Ricci, Mc Queen, Lanvin, Strenesse, Martin Margiela and Max Mara and led as professor for fashion design several design departments and Art Colleges.
